What is the merit in something like this? unless you made the sprites yourself. it's just an assemblage of a few of the most basic functions of flash, and a collection sprites. As a learning exercise that would never see the light of day it is okay.
I’d say ways to improve this, would be.
To improve the interface significantly, so every item is not present on screen the whole time. Because it clutters it up. And that would an opportunity to, create something worthwhile, if you made an interesting or creative way of organising the bits and pieces.
To make the scene the main focus of the movie, which, if I am getting the idea here is… the idea. This means to make it big, or central, or… something. And like another reviewer said make the sprites animated.
Because right now i'm guessing this was more fun for you to make than it is for me to look at.
you dont need to keep resubmitting this...
we get the idea.
it's an okay game.
Main problem with this isn't the content, but at the same time it is. Basically I don’t give a shit that we have to shoot bush, but it's just boring after about 2 seconds. And there is no incentive to keep shooting him.
Where as, with a bit of extra work you could make an actual game, with original artwork and an original story. I would find that much more interesting than this 1 dimensional interactive propaganda.
Some might call it.... addictive?
For everyone using the alt - tab thing to finish quick you're not actually playing the game, you're bypassing the game.
you wouldn't start a board game and move your piece right to the end on your first go... just because you physically can... and then claim that you've won
even still this game is kinda limited. need some obstacles or... something to make it a bit more interesting
would make a nice enemy in a game.
this kicks the ass of all ur other dress ups... good job. i dunno where ur gonna take it from here if u make another cos u seem to have it pretty much nailed... but... good luck.
that was really cool
one thing i would say... is that... rather than having... the see/hear/smell/interact menu up the top of the screen the whole time. it would work better if when u clicked an object a menu would appear next to it with the ways in which u could check that object out. got a bit tiresome to keep changing what "mode" u were in for each object. but overall this is a really great game.
what in gods name
what the hell, why does my car do that? why doesn't it go where i say... why doesn't it... um... yeah. i think this needs some work.
And you know this, as it's just a beta, it can be much better. ok... improvements that can be made... i think some kind of scenario... where you explain... why exactly we're running people over (other than it being fun). um... i think... that the visual style of the game didn't exactly complement the content... driving around suburbia isn't evil enough, the car definitely needs some spikes and some guns and a guy who leans out of the window with a sword... and... Stuff.... i think... basically the whole game needs to be a bit darker and gorier... cos lets face it running people over is a fairly abhorrent act… may as well make it look that way :D. Oh and… I think the levels should be bigger than one screen. But it is certainly a good start. Music, more sounds… power-ups… and everyone has already said this… so… yeah… get to it
best... death... ever
i mean best game ever. altho it was kinda laggy... but prolly due to my computer rather than ur game.
